After graduation, she apprenticed in Jewelry Design in the Seaman Schepp Jewelry Design Shop under the guidance of Ms. Patricia Schepp in New York City for two and a half years. This led to her creation of necklaces for sale to Henri Bendel as well as Bergdorf-Goodman and various jewelry stores. Utilizing her creative talents she also was active in the theater during her 18 year residence in New York City.
Returning to Edenton, NC in 1990 she
continued her studies in art with various teachers including highly regarded Jean Dexter and Robin Sams. Jennifer has won a
number of awards for her watercolors.
Upon Jennifer's decision to return to the field of jewelry design and crafting, she has studied under nationally acclaimed artists Linda Kaye Moses, Celi Fago, CeCe Wire, Felicia Szorad and Deborah Wilson. Always eager to build on her creative jewelry making skills, Jennifer participates on a continuing basis in courses offered by prestigious schools such as Penland School of Crafts.
